Development Services

Accumuli Security offer a software development service that can develop custom software modules to enhance business processes and improve efficiency.

Examples of work undertaken so far include:

Branch provisioning scripts

Automate the provisioning of static and dynamic IP addresses for numerous, similarly configured, branch networks, including configuring branch DNS domains and servers

Workflow

Enhance the DNS change request mechanism so that all changes are first published in a test environment, tested, approved, and then published in the live environment, with full regression capabilities.

Microsoft DNS -> Infoblox Synchronisation module

Regularly import DNS zones from Microsoft DNS (or other non-Infoblox DNS environments) into Infoblox to provide read-only access to external DNS data via the Infoblox IPAM interface.

Auth-AD

Enable VitalQIP and runIP to authenticate administrator passwords via Active Directory rather than using their own internal password authentication mechanisms. The Auth-AD module also enables timed access so that users can only login on certain days and/or during certain time periods.

TACACS+ authentication module

Enable VitalQIP and runIP to authenticate administrator passwords via TACACS+ rather than using their own internal password authentication mechanisms.

Service provider provisioning interfaces

Provide an interface to DDI products that service providers can use to provision IP address space and individual IP addresses. This can be used to integrate ordering systems into a fully integrated provisioning system using standard programming interfaces such as RPC, XML, SOAP etc. Please see this tech talk item for further information.

Custom web GUIs

Provide a simplified web interface tailored to customer requirements to enable unskilled operators to provision DNS/DHCP entries and IP addresses.

VoIP provisioning tools

Automatically configure Infoblox with the appropriate configuration files for VoIP clients requiring file distribution via TFTP/HTTP.

Data migration and tranformation tools

Provide a data transformation engine that can analyse and assess thousands of IPAM spreadsheets in varying formats and produce a unified data export that can be imported into a DDI system such as Infoblox.

Rogue Device Detector

Utilise the DHCP API from the Alcatel-Lucent VitalQIP DHCP server to intercept DHCP requests and report (or optionally deny) clients that violate certain corporate policies, such as non-compliant host names (e.g. clients are configured with an incorrect prefix or do not conform to the corporate host naming standard).
